Demountable plate heat exchangers engineered for heat transfer loops. Sized to handle cooling tower isolation, HVAC breaks, and industrial thermal duties.
Industrial Line gasketed plate heat exchangers (GPHE) comprise a pack of corrugated metal plates sealed with elastomer gaskets and compressed inside a steel frame using bolts. The fluids flow in counter current directions through alternating channels. The plate corrugations create high shear stress turbulence even at low fluid velocities, maximising the heat transfer coefficient across the plate boundary.
This modular design allows operators to alter thermal capacities post installation by adding, removing, or re arranging plates within the existing compression frame to meet changing thermal profiles.
Corrugated plate designs enhance turbulence and heat transfer efficiency, enabling compact heat exchanger solutions with high thermal performance, reduced energy consumption, and effective temperature control.
Equipped with glue free Clip on gaskets (NBR, EPDM, or Viton) that fit directly into plate grooves, allowing quick cleaning, inspection, and replacement during maintenance intervals.
Plates are pressed in thickness profiles from 0.4mm to 0.6mm, utilising SS316, Titanium, or specialised alloys to match mechanical pressure limits and fluid corrosion profiles.
